History: The HONDA Livo was first launched in India back in July 2015. In Bangladesh, the first launch date was July, 2017. Then on January 18, 2019, this bike got a facelift with new Decals which enhanced the sporty scheme it was built upon.
Features: Key features of HONDA Livo is the stylish design it has. There is a new digital-analogue combo instrument panel too. The viscous paper filter used like other HONDA bikes improves the bike’s reliability.
The four available colour options of this motorcycle are:
- Athletic Blue Metallic
- Imperial Red Metallic
- Matte Axis Grey
This bike has a masculine stance, something which the traditional commuter bikes usually lack. The new sporty-looking decals increase the presence of the bike on the street. The Diamond frame adds rigidity and stability to the bike. The 3D HONDA emblem gives it such an impression that many unfamiliar people confuse it to be of at least 125cc segment bike on first look.
Body Dimensions: The all new HONDA Livo is a stunning commuter motorcycle. Thanks to its Diamond frame, it ensures proper handling dynamics while riding. The overall length is 2230mm, the overall width is 738mm and the overall height is 1099mm.
The wheelbase is 1285 mm which helps to make the bike nimble and sporty yet easily controllable. The bike has a 8.5 litre fuel tank. The disc equipped version weighs 111kg.
Engine & Transmission: HONDA Livo has a 109.19 cc, 4 Stroke, BS-IV single cylinder engine that is air cooled with a 9.9:1 compression ratio. This engine churns out 8.31 BHP Power @7500 rpm & 9.09 Nm Torque @ 5000 rpm. This engine is mated to a 4-speed Transmission system that provides adequate target performance.
Suspension, Brakes, Wheels: The suspension system of the HONDA Livo is comprised of a dual telescopic system up front and 5-step adjustable Spring-loaded hydraulic system at the rear.
The front has an optional 240mm disc or a 130mm drum brake while the rear one has a standards 130mm drum. Both the wheels have 80/100-18 Low Resistance Rolling (LRR) tyres paired to the 5-spoke wheels which provide adequate support and Confidence while riding.
Best For: The HONDA Livo is targeted towards the younger generation of the country. College and university students and young job holders are the main customers of this motorcycle. Many middle-aged users, who are still young in their hearts also use this bike daily to meet their need for commuting.
The motorcycle easily allows the user to do in-city and some small inter-city commutes, thanks to its comfortable seating arrangement for both the rider and pillion. The engine’s performance is satisfying and combined with the frame, transmission and suspension system, the bike is a charm to ride on.
The bike is very much controllable and rider-friendly. The low fuel consumption adds to its buyer-friendly features. This is a perfect bike for the youths who want a stylish look and yet enjoy the economical aspects a 110cc bike has to offer with a great mileage.
